Comprising 800 parts and measuring 1.06 metres in length once completed, this limited edition (huge) boxing includes original plastic parts to depict U-505 as it appeared late-war at the time of its capture in June 1944, whilst adding photoetched & turned-metal parts, resin parts and real-wood (self-adhesive) decking to provide the means to build a simply stunning replica of impressive proportions and incredible levels of detail!
Decals (printed by Cartograf) are provided to allow U-505 to be completed as either on active service in 1944, or shortly after its capture:
